VO’. I concetti di base della meccanica di precisione, suo settore di provenienza, applicati alla vitivinicoltura. Filippo Voltazza affronta la sua sfida più importante sui Colli Euganei. S’è assunto l’impegno di rilanciare Monteversa, una delle aziende più belle dell’area, i cui vigneti in passato sono stati affittati a due delle migliori case vinicole della zona o coltivati in proprio dall’ex proprietario, Bruno Rossi, compianto imprenditore atestino.
Filippo Voltazza fa l’ingegnere. Con l’azienda di famiglia, che ha sede nel Piovese, coordina progetti di ricerca in campo europeo nel campo dello studio e dello sviluppo di leghe leggere (alluminio e maghesio) e i processi di fonderia applicati all’automotive. Con la stessa precisione e lo stesso puntiglio dal 2010 s’è posto al timone di Monteversa, notoriamente uno dei luoghi più belli e meglio vocati per la produzione del vino di qualità. Al suo Fianco c’è un altro giovane, Giovanni Bressanin, un appassionato di vino che ha anche una grossa esperienza nel campo commerciale del settore vinicolo.
Il fronte dell’azienda è stato subito esteso a tutti i versanti del Monteversa, da cui l’originale scelta fatta di battezzare due vini, un rosso e un bianco, VersaCinto e VersaVo’ . Filippo Voltazza sottolinea che Monteversa non è affatto il “giocattolo di famiglia”. La scelta di condurre in prima persona l’azienda coincide con la volontà di creare un percorso aziendale autonomo, mirato ad elevare la qualità del prodotto. Le prime soddisfazioni sono arrivate già con le prime vendemmie… Gran parte dei vigneti sono a conduzione biologica certificata Icea. Il consulente enologico è Guido Busatto. Bassissime le rese. Per capire gli obiettivi dell’azienda di Filippo Voltazza basta degustare, fra tutti, Animaversa, il rosso importante dell’azienda, taglio bordolese ottenuto con le migliori
espressioni di Merlot e Cabernet Sauvignon. Vino che si ottiene da viti che hanno dai 20 ai 40 anni. Vino di grande spessore.
